Microneedling is an advanced resurfacing treatment that can be performed on many areas of the face and body using a microneedling device called a SkinPen®. The SkinPen® creates micro-injuries that activate the body's natural healing response to boost collagen and elastin production, producing more youthful, radiant skin. 

Most patients are good candidates for microneedling. Your Care First aesthetician will determine if you are a good candidate for microneedling at your consultation and help you establish a treatment plan to achieve your goals.

After your appointment, your skin will feel like you've had too much sun. Expect a tight and warm sensation that will diminish throughout the day. Results may appear 24 hours post-treatment. You will notice skin texture and tone improvements as collagen continues to repair the treatment areas in the weeks following your treatment.

Most patients need 3-4 treatments, separated by 6-8 weeks, to achieve their goals. Patients with deep wrinkles, photo-aging, stretch marks, or acne scars might need 6-8 treatments every six weeks.
