Dr. Natasha Weems, DNP, AGPCNP-BC is a qualified nurse practitioner, serial entrepreneur, beauty and wellness enthusiast; and devoted mentor. Highly educated provider, Natasha Weems holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication from Wayne State University, she then completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. (BSN) program at Oakland University.
She Is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with certification in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. She holds both a master’s degree in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree that enables her to provide comprehensive primary care for adults across the lifespan. Her clinical expertise focuses on comprehensive primary care and acute care that includes diagnosis evaluation, management, and coordination of care for acute and chronic care conditions.
Dr. Natasha Weems was previously a Professor at a University in Michigan and is currently CEO of Care First Wellness Med Spa in Southern California. Throughout her career as an adjunct faculty teaching in the Nurse Practitioner program and developing her own business, Care First Wellness Med Spa, She developed a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry. It’s no secret that we’re living in a fast-changing world and the healthcare landscape is no exception.
Dr. Natasha Weems is a true champion of health and wellness in Detroit. Her commitment to helping the most vulnerable in our community has been recognized with the 2017 Allied Health Care Hero Award. Dr. Weems created a program to provide health and wellness education to low-income and homeless patients. She also partnered with Gleaners Community Food Bank in Michigan to deliver free food to those in need and develop a food distribution site. Dr. Weems’ benevolent work has been upheld as an example of selfless service throughout Detroit. Her dedication to helping those most vulnerable in our community is truly inspiring and demonstrates the power of compassion and hard work.
